A member of the Gary Manuel Salon team since July 2007, Christopher Archiopoli's salon career began as a graphic designer and manager for a small chain of salons in Phoenix, Arizona. After completing a degree in marketing at Arizona State University, Christopher realized he wanted to remain in the salon industry but didn't enjoy sitting at a desk all day. "This need for change," he says, "coupled with my desire to be able to make a positive influence on people's lives - not only to my regular clients but also by giving back to the community - motivated me to go to cosmetology school. Upon moving to Seattle and making myself familiar with the city's top salons, I quickly realized that Gary Manuel was the place that I wanted to work."
Christopher's philosophy: "It really comes down to creating an experience for my clients that is not only relaxing, but also fun," he says. "I believe that the key to great hair design is not only creating something interesting and beautiful, but also a look that is wearable and applicable to a client. I feel the most satisfaction when a client and I have a great connection. I feel successful when I'm not only able to make a client exceptionally happy with their hair, but also make them feel as if they've experienced more than just a business transaction."
A graduate of the internationally acclaimed Phase 2 and Phase 3 training programs at Gary Manuel Salon, Christopher has also completed numerous advanced training courses through Aveda and is currently working on his Washington State Instructor's License. His hobbies include watching movies, reading, cycling, and photography.
Christopher can be contacted at 206.728.1234, extension 2715, and is available for appointments Thursdays through Saturdays.
