Gary Manuel Salon is located at 528 Second Avenue in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of downtown Seattle, WA 98104. We are open Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and closed Sunday and Monday. Holiday hours are posted on our Google profile. Pioneer Square light rail station, Exit B, is directly across James Street from the salon and we are within walking distance of the downtown core. There is paid street parking along Second Avenue and James Street. There is also a parking lot across the street and Butler Garage is kitty-corner from the salon on James Street. If you park in the lot or garage, we highly recommend reserving a spot ahead of time with a service, such as ParkWhiz or SpotHero, to avoid paying event prices (around $100).

Gary Manuel Salon is known for exceptional guest service and extensive stylist training, which shows in every haircut, color and style. Founded in 1979 by Gary Howse and Manuel Benevich, the salon has been known for artistry and excellence ever since. Walk-ins are welcome when a stylist is available. Booking ahead is the best way to get the time and stylist you want.

Yes. Gary Manuel Salon is an Aveda Lifestyle Salon in Pioneer Square, Seattle. We use Aveda's plant-derived hair color and professional Botanical Treatments, and carry Aveda hair, skin and body care.

A credit or debit card is required to reserve an appointment, and we ask for at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel. If you paid a deposit for a service and did not arrive for the appointment, we will keep the deposit amount and it will not be applied to the balance of the service.  Changes made to an appointment within 24 hours will incur a 50% service charge.  Appointments that are missed without notice will incur a 100% service charge. Yes, we do. Our gift cards can be used for services or products in the salon. You can purchase them online 24/7. On the next page, in the top right corner, click "Gift Cards." Your gift card will be sent by email or text on a date you specify. If you prefer a physical gift card, please stop into the salon or call us at (206) 728-1234.

No. Gary Manuel Salon in Pioneer Square, Seattle, is the only one. Gary Manuel Studio in South Lake Union was folded into the Pioneer Square salon in 2022. The Gary Manuel Aveda Institute was sold in 2021 and is now Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute. It is no longer affiliated with Gary Manuel Salon.
